Siena

Vous devez absolument visiter la Piazza del Campo et voir l'imposante Torre del Mangia tout en profitant d'un crème glacée de «Grom» (notre endroit préféré). Vous devriez également voir le Duomo di Siena avec son merveilleux manque et son extérieur en marbre blanc.
Tous les mercredis matin, vous pouvez trouver « Il Mercato », de petits étals de marchés locaux. Un parking gratuit à Sienne peut être difficile à trouver, nous vous recommandons de vérifier sur Internet pour voir lequel vous convient le mieux.

San Gimignano

It’s impossible not to visit the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages” if you’re this nearby, even though in high season it’s full of people! The towers and surrounding countryside are absolutely gorgeous and we recommend an ice cream rom “ Dondoli ” that offers quite unique flavours.

Val d'Orcia

Wonderful for driving around and enjoying the Tuscan countryside.
- Pienza (nice village known for good cheese and a special hand made pasta)
- Montalcino (you can have a glass of wine in the castle)
- Montepulciano (wonderful village to visit)
- San quirico d'Orcia (very nice village)
- Bagni Vignoni (thermal area)

Via Francigena

Colle di val d’Elsa is a stop over town of the famous route “ Via Francigena ”, a medieval road that goes from Canterbury in England to Rome and was used for pilgrimages. You can go on foot or by bike (a bike rental five minutes from here is “ Gippo Bike” and it’s also close to where the route passes so you can go with your bikes directly from there). You can easily leave your car in Colle di Val d’Elsa and tackle this route.
In the town Monteriggioni every year in July it holds an outstanding medieval festival, check the website for info.

Siena

Sie müssen unbedingt die Piazza del Campo besuchen und den hoch aufragenden Torre del Mangia sehen, während Sie ein Eis von „Grom“ (unserem Lieblingsort) genießen. Sie sollten auch den Dom von Siena mit seinem wunderbaren Mangel und der Außenseite aus weißem Marmor sehen.
Jeden Mittwochmorgen finden Sie " Il Mercato ", kleine lokale Marktstände. Kostenlose Parkplätze in Siena können schwierig zu finden sein. Wir empfehlen, im Internet nachzusehen, welcher für Sie am besten geeignet ist.

San Gimignano

Elsa River Park

Nur 10 Minuten von hier entfernt finden Sie diesen schönen Ort in Gracciano, wo Sie Picknicks machen und Spaziergänge entlang des Flusses Elsa genießen können! Es gibt auch einige kleine heiße Thermalwässer in der Nähe.
" Parco Fluviale dell'Elsa " auf Google Maps können Sie Ihr Auto bei " Parrocchia S. Marziale " parken und die Brücke überqueren, um hierher zu gelangen.

Über Francigena

Colle di val d'Elsa ist eine Station über der Stadt der berühmten Route „Via Francigena“, einer mittelalterlichen Straße, die von Canterbury in England nach Rom führt und für Pilgerfahrten genutzt wurde. Sie können zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad fahren (ein Fahrradverleih fünf Minuten von hier entfernt ist „ Gippo Bike “ und es befindet sich auch in der Nähe der Route, sodass Sie direkt von dort mit Ihren Fahrrädern fahren können). Sie können Ihr Auto ganz einfach in Colle di Val d'Elsa stehen lassen und diese Route in Angriff nehmen .
In der Stadt Monteriggioni findet jedes Jahr im Juli ein herausragendes mittelalterliches Festival statt . Weitere Informationen finden Sie auf der Website.

Siena

You absolutely must visit the Piazza del Campo and see the towering Torre del Mangia while enjoying an ice cream from “ Grom ” (our favourite place). You should also see the Duomo di Siena with it’s wonderful lack and white marble exterior.
Every Wednesday morning you can find “Il Mercato”, small local market stalls. Free parking in Siena can be tricky to find, we recommend checking on internet to see which one is convenient for you.

⬗ There is a small supermarket in Casole d’Elsa (5 km from here), CONSORZIO AGRARIO, stocked with some basic necessities, food and otherwise. Really good quality products, especially the food bank.

WATER REFILL STATIONS: To avoid the use of plastic we refill our glass water bottles at the refilling stations in Pievescola (to the right of the pharmacy) or Colle Val d’Elsa.

GARBAGE: In order to dispose of the garbage you can find waste bins (recycle options also) in the parking lot of “La Speranza” 800 m from us (you need the car): at the end of the dirt road on the right.
